Our StoryEstablished in January 2019, Retina Centre has rapidly grown into one of Northeast India’s most trusted super-speciality eye care hospitals. Patients from all the Northeastern states, parts of West Bengal and Bihar visit our eye care facility for consultation, diagnostics and treatments.
The lack of sufficient speciality eye care infrastructure in the region motivated our founder Dr , an eminent eye specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon, to establish Retina Centre in Guwahati, Assam. From the early days of his professional life, Dr has significantly participated in various government and non-government eyecare awareness development initiatives in Assam and neighbouring states.
The founding principle of Retina Centre is to bring high-quality diagnostics and treatments to Northeast India so that people do not have to travel long distances for their eye problems.
We aim to provide the most sophisticated and comprehensive ophthalmic diagnostic evaluations, treatment and surgeries within costs that everyone can afford. Having served in the Indian Army himself, Dr was deeply inspired by this conversation and sought to seek training himself. He specialized as a Vireo-retinal Surgeon from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, realizing and working towards his motto to serve the people of his home turf, the North-Eastern states.Our team, our efforts, time and expertise, all are dedicated to deliver the best possible care to the eyes of our patients.
